Welcome to TWO. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TWO mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Important Notice
TWO is a discipline framework and tracking tool designed to help you manage your relationship with alcohol. TWO is not a medical service, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional treatment for alcohol use disorder or addiction. If you are struggling with alcohol dependency, please seek professional medical help.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TWO, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use TWO. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use TWO, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, false, or incomplete.
4. The 2-2-2-2 Framework
TWO is built around a specific behavioral framework:
- 2 drinks maximum per drinking session
- 2 days per week where drinking is allowed
- Never 2 consecutive days of drinking
- 2-week reset periods every quarter
The Service provides tools to help you track and maintain adherence to this framework. Your success depends on your commitment and honest use of the tracking features.
5. License and Use Restrictions
5.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
5.2 Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Modify, adapt, hack, or reverse engineer any part of the Service
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks
6. Subscription and Payment
6.1 Subscription Plans
TWO offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features and pricing are described within the app and on our website.
6.2 Billing and Renewals
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, annually, or as otherwise specified)
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date
- We may change subscription fees with notice, but changes will not affect your current subscription period
- Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)
6.3 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
- We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days
7. User Content and Data
7.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including your drinking logs, schedules, and progress information ("User Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your User Data as necessary to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Data Accuracy
TWO relies on your honest and accurate tracking. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data you provide or any consequences resulting from inaccurate tracking.
7.3 Data Backup
While we implement backup procedures, you are responsible for maintaining your own records. We are not liable for any loss of User Data.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
8.1 No Medical Advice
TWO is a behavioral tracking tool, not a medical device or treatment program. The Service:
- Does not provide medical, therapeutic, or professional advice
- Is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition
- Is not a substitute for professional medical treatment or addiction services
- Should not be used as a sole method for managing alcohol-related health concerns
Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals regarding alcohol consumption and health concerns.
8.2 Service Availability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Data will be stored or transmitted without loss or corruption
8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for any health outcomes, decisions, or consequences related to your alcohol consumption
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, and design, is owned by TWO and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The TWO name, logo, and all related marks are our trademarks. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app.
11.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Any other reason at our sole discretion
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease immediately
- We may delete your User Data in accordance with our data retention policies
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TWO and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any decisions you make regarding alcohol consumption
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where TWO is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will endeavor to resolve disputes in good faith.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TWO regarding the Service.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

- Professional help is available if you struggle with alcohol dependency
